Awesome musical news for those of you dreaming of seeing 'Lola', 'Waterloo Sunset' and 'Sunny Afternoon' performed in their true glory - it looks like The Kinks could be getting back together, after brothers Ray and Dave Davies reunited to perform together for the first time in 20 years this weekend.
The legendary rockers, who have endured a tumultuous relationship, split in the 1990s. There have been many whisperings of the band reuniting - last year Ray revealed that they were 'talking' and 'hoping to write together again', before Dave later said there was an 'outside chance' of them getting back together.
Well, dreams can come true - with Ray joining Dave on stage during his gig at London's Islington Assembly Hall this weekend for a performance of 'You Really Got Me'.
Dave since took to Twitter to celebrate their 'great night' - followed by a long stream of Tweets talking about the event.
We had a great night - it was a fun show - had a blast with Ray - Dave https://t.co/L3PzOdh9O6

Does this mean the hatchet is buried and more shows are to come? Maybe will see them at Glastonbury? Time will tell - bring on 2016.
