The top 5 countdown for the BBC Sound Of 2016 has kicked off - and its a two-way tie. Mura Masa and WSTRN have taken joint fifth place.
The fifteen act strong longlist was unveiled at the end of last year, and included the likes of Izzy Bizu, Blossoms, Alessia Cara, Jack Garratt and Ray Boy.
Now, the top 5 countdown has begun, and we're one step closer to finding out who will follow in the footsteps of last year's winners Years & Years, who certainly went on to earn their title by dominating the airwaves and defining a pop-heavy year.
Before them, winners included the likes of Sam Smith, HAIM, Ellie Goulding and Adele - while Chvrches, Hurts, Bloc Party, Florence + The Machine and more have also been shortlisted in the past.
Sharing 5th place, then, are WSTRN - with whom Gigwise did a brilliant Office Session earlier last year - and Mura Masa, who describes his sound as "lo-fi oriental-influences beat music."
