Dr Dre debuted a new track, 'Back To Business', on his first 2016 Beats 1 Radio programme, Pharmacy Beats. The track boasts guest vocals from the likes of T.I., Justus, Victoria Monet and Sly Piper.

Produced by Swiff D, who also crafted the beat for Schoolboy Q’s, ‘Studio’, the Doctor’s new track is a throwback to the mid-00s and mid-90s. It’s hazy, laid back, but contemporary in its feel.

Dre raps, “Can’t stop, bigger dreams for this hip-hop”, with an intermittent collaborative chorus, followed by, “I’m happy it was music and not zip locks / And now we bringing crops like it’s Woodstock.”

In September of last year, T.I. revealed that he was going to work with Dre to record tracks for his upcoming LP, The Dime Trap, saying “Dre’s the homie, to be honest with you… I’ve never seen somebody so meticulous about music before.”

Dr Dre pleasantly shocked the world last year with the surprise release of his third album, Compton.
