The Walking Dead's Danai Gurira is set to play Tupac's mother in the forthcoming biopic All Eyez On Me.
The film, which is named after the late rapper's fourth album, is being directed by Benny Boom, who is responsible for music videos for the likes of Nicki Minaj, 50 Cent, Kelly Rowlandand P. Diddy.
Unknown actor Demetrius Shipp Jr is set to play Tupac, while The Vampire Diaries' Kat Graham will play Jada Pinkett Smith, who went to high school with the rapper - who was shot dead in 1996 aged just 25.
It's now been revealed that Danai Gurira, who plays the much-loved character Michonne in The Walking Dead, will play Tupac's mother Afeni Shakur.
Meanwhile, Jamal Woolard is set to reprise his role in 2009's Notorious, and play Notorious B.I.G.
No released dates have been set for All Eyez On Me yet.
