In honour of the late, great David Bowie, the streets of Sheffield have been graced with a new mural in his tribute. Only, it looks a little strange - and everyone on the internet seems to hate it.
Yorkshire's Steel City is now adorned with a tribute to the Thin White Duke on the legendary Division Street. It was created by graffiti artist, Trik09. Here he is posing with his work in progress:

However, when it was finished, it was not quite as good as the one in Bowie's hometown in Brixton - which has become a pilgrimage for fans the world over. Perhaps it's because it looks a little bit like Bowie's melted - with fans taking online to pour scorn over the image, pointing out how it looks more like Pat Sharp or Peep Show's Superhans:

They should've given the Sheffield Bowie mural gig to the IRA.

Yes, that's Bowie.
No, he did not suffer a stroke or have reconstructive surgery. pic.twitter.com/Vlj7If2IVW
