Brian Jonestown Massacre have announced a UK and Ireland tour for June. Full dates and ticket details are below.
The San Francisco formed band began making their mesmeric Velvet Underground tinged psychedelia in 1990 and have songwriter and frontman Anton Newcombe has continually made great albums throughout his career. To hear a retrospective set with something new will be a treat for those lucky enough to get tickets.
In terms of new music, Anton Newcombe is a fan of putting up music that's in progress and will often unveil new music with little promotion. So to keep track of what's out there check out his YouTube channel here.
Of the current new releases, the above 'Fingertips', which features Tess Parks' suitably dreamy ambient 60s psych-esque vocals, and 'The Sun Ship' are standouts. Meanwhile, dig their sublime 1991 album Pol Pot Penthouse in full below:
