Janet Jackson has pulled the rest of of her Unbreakable world tour, to start a family with her husband.
This comes after Jackson postponed her UK dates, due to 'scheduling conflicts'. The announcement means that all UK shows have had to be delayed until further notice. In a Twitter video, Jackson thanked LiveNation for being “The best in your field” and explained, “That is why I’m with you”.
She continued: “We're in the second leg of the tour and there actually has been a sudden change," she told her fans, "I thought it was important that you be the first to know."
The singer explained, "My husband and we are planning our family. So I'm gonna have to delay the tour.” And having already annoyed British fans with cancelling the tour dates and then promising to reschedule them she apologised, "Please, if you can, try and understand that it's important that I do this now.”
The singer then reassured her British fans, "I have to rest up, doctor's orders, but I have not forgotten about you. I will continue the tour as soon as I possibly can."
The tour hasn’t run smoothly since it began, with “scheduling difficulties” forcing her to cancel the original UK dates in late March and early April.
Due to an emergency operation the singer also had to cancel a string of date on her North American tour, which left her having to clarify that she wasn’t actually suffering from throat cancer.
