It looks like a new album from The Stone Roses could indeed be on its way after all, after the band and their gear have been spotted in and around a London recording studio.
It's been 22 years since their sophomore effort The Second Coming, but it looks like album No.3 could well arrive later this year - hopefully in time for their summer tour dates in Manchester, New York, Japan, Dublin and T In The Park.
Well, they could just be rehearsing or it could be something more, but fans have taken to social media to share images of the bands gear outside Paul Epworth's Church Studios in Crouch End in north London - while others have met them in neighbouring pubs:
Ian Brown told one fan we're "gunna hear more stuff before June hopefully."
IT HAPPENED IT FUCKING HAPPENED! Love that band so fucking much! #stoneroses #London #ianbrown pic.twitter.com/q77BQsjmuB

A Stone Roses spokesman is yet to comment on the rumours.
This isn't the first time rumours have circulated about a new album recently. A few weeks back, Guardian journalist Ben Green sparked a fan frenzy when he tweeted, "SR04032016", which seemed to suggest new material was coming on 4 March. It didn't materialise.
Other sources do however, state that a new album is coming this summer.
