Three people in their early 20s died at California’s HARD Summer Music Festival over the weekend.
As Billboard reports, nine people attending the electronic dance festival - which saw performances from the likes of Major Lazer, AlunaGeorge, Travis Scott and Ice Cub - were taken to local hospitals.
According to San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department spokeswoman Jodi Miller, two of those nine were pronounced dead on Saturday, while a third died the following day. The cause of these deaths remains unknown.
The coroner’s division has now revealed the names and ages of those who lost their lives - Derek Lee, aged 22, Alyssa Dominguez, aged 21 and Roxanne Ngo, aged 22.
In a statement, organisers of HARD Summer said, "We were deeply saddened to learn about the deaths of three people who attended the festival this weekend. While the causes of the deaths have not yet been determined, we ask everyone to keep them in their prayers. Our sincerest thoughts and condolences are with their family and friends."
