What are you up to, Frank Ocean?

We can't believe we're still falling for this, but his new album might be on its way

Frank Ocean teases new album Boys Don't Cry on website live stream Photo: WENN

In the early hours of this morning, Frank Ocean’s website began a live stream of a black and white room. It looks like new music could, finally, be approaching.

The hype surrounding Frank Ocean's much-delayed new album, which was supposed to be released at some point last year and never materialised, has been reignited and then extinguished more times than we care to remember.

Last month though, a picture of a library sticker with Boys Don’t Cry (thought to be the album’s title) at the bottom and a string of dates, emerged on his website. The date at the very bottom was July 2016, with the exact date smudged.

Unfortunately, it’s now 1 August and his album still hasn’t materialised. Could it have all been another cruel prank? Hopefully not. As The Fader reports, an Apple Music sponsored stream began at 3.30am EST, showing a black and white room filled with two desks.

Unfortunately, the space where the video was streaming is now blank. FFS Frank.
