Following on from the attacks in Brussels earlier this week, Mariah Carey has been asked to consider cancelling her show in the Belgian capital.
The singer is due to celebrate her birthday by playing a show in the city later this month, but explosions in the capital have seen security concerns raised - reports TMZ.
The terrorist attacks that happened on Tuesday 22 March have taken the lives of 32 people, whilst there are 60 people injured.
With the venue being able to hold an 8,000 capacity show there are very real concerns about whether the Belgian security forces would be able to cope whilst ensuring the safety of other areas in the city.
And due to the airport being attacked on Tuesday, there are also fears that Carey won’t be able to actually make it out to the city.
Carey is currently out on her Sweet Sweet Fantasy tour, which kicked off in Glasgow last week. The tour is currently on the European leg, which has saw her play 6 venues across Great Britain, and will see her head out to mainland Europe, with her first show in Luxemborg.
Mariah Carey tweeted her support to the people of Belgium in the wake of the attacks.
