Noel Gallagher has weighed in on reports that Axl Rose is joining AC/DC on tour, saying it’s “wrong, that’s wrong.”

AC/DC recently had to postpone tour dates as Brian Johnson was forced to leave the Rock Or Bust tour, or else 'risk losing his hearing completely'.

As previously reported, rumours quickly began surfacing that Guns N' Roses frontman Axl Rose would be filling his shoes, after Axl was seen with the band at rehearsals in Atlanta in the US - rumours that were seemingly confirmed whenTMZ revealed photo showing Axl Rose leaving an Atlanta rehearsal space, shortly followed by members of AC/DC.

Now, in a new interview with Triple M, Oasis’ Noel Gallagher has given his opinion of the possible creative collaboration, saying, “Wrong, that’s wrong."

AC/DC are yet to announce what will happen to their two forthcoming UK dates, so for now, we can assume they're still happening. See the dates below. Get tickets and more information here.

Sat June 04 2016 - LONDON Olympic Stadium
Thu June 09 2016 - MANCHESTER Etihad Stadium
