If you have been living under a rock, you might not have noticed indie pop sensations Kodaline have been just about everywhere recently.
Ever since the release of their debut album, In a Perfect World, in 2013, the Irish quartet has been climbing their way to the top of the music world. Not only did their debut score them a place in the album charts, their second album, Coming Up For Air, followed the same path. Last year brought forward the band's UK and Ireland December tour in promotion of their second album.
Now, watch as the boys headline numerous stages and festivals all throughout the summer, including their highly anticipated lead performance at Sussex’s Forgotten Fields festival.
Before their festival performances, the Dublin band also performed as a headline act when they attended Irelands famed Bow Street Sessions at The Academy, sponsored by Jameson Irish Whisky. The night before the set, they also performed a secret, intimate, acoustic show.
Not only are Kodaline current pop marvels, they are all around good people – rewarding young people who have taken a stand against bullying at this week’s Diana Award Anti-Bullying showcase. Commenting on the suggestion that their music helps and inspires young fans, frontman Steve Garrigan said, "It's an amazing feeling... it's what makes this all worthwhile.”
