50 Cent has been toppled from the top five of Forbes’ list of the wealthiest artists in hip hop - with Drake taking his place.
At 29, Drake is significantly younger than the rest of the artists in the Forbes Five, with a net worth of $60 million. He’s replaced 50 Cent - who recently landed himself in hot water by mocking a disabled airport janitor - after the rapper filed for bankruptcy last year.
Drake is still a long way off rivalling this year’s No.1 - Diddy - who is worth an estimated $750 million, slightly up from last year.
Dr. Dre is a close second, with a net worth of $710 million, while Jay Z and Birman are third and fourth respectively.
In case you’re wondering how the list of compiled - Forbes does it by "looking at past earnings, valuing current holdings, leafing through real estate records and talking to analysts, attorneys, managers, venture capitalists and some of the moguls themselves to find the details.”
