It’s not often you find a sleepy soul in the depths of a doom metal gig. But this particular gig-goer decided to pick Fórn’s all but soothing sound to sleep to.
The doom metal band took to the stage in a Brooklyn warehouse at 3am.
The video footage from the gig shows a man in a red top hunched over, sitting on the edge of the stage. He hardly moves for the whole duration of Fórn’s set
For 22-minutes the red shirt guy has his head between his knees, and throughout the whole set, Fórn’s lead vocalist Chris Pinto gets close enough to wake anyone and anything up - or so you’d think.
The doom metal band took to Facebook to joke about their late set, writing: “Apparently, 3AM is too late of a set time for some people, like the dude who is passed out on stage the entire time that somehow none of us realised.”
The doom metal group also reached out to fans to make sure the gig-goer was alive and well, adding, “Can somebody check on him and make sure he’s not dead?”
One respondent replied and claimed to be the sleepy fan, responding: “Hey I’m that guy and I’m still alive unfortunately. I really dug everything I heard though even though I looked like the Minor Threat guy.”
He ended the reply on a more promising note, adding: “I hope to see you guys on a night when I haven’t been drinking all night”.
