Glastonbury Festival have announced the this year's Emerging Talent Competition. Find full details below.

In an unsigned band and dream of gracing the stage at the biggest festival in the world? This could be your chance.

While the full line-up is still a way off, Glastonbury's annual Emerging Talent Competition could snag you a slot on one of the main stages at Worthy Farm, alongside Radiohead and other huge acts.

Think you've got what it takes? To be in with a chance, all you have to do is submit a link to one original song on SoundCloud, plus a link to a video of you or your band performing live (even if it’s only recorded in a bedroom).

Previous winners of the competition include Declan McKenna - who went on to feature on the BBC Sound of 2017 list, perform on Later...With Jools Holland and sign to Columbia Records. Ellen & The Escapades, The Subways, Scouting For Girls and Stornoway are also among successful winners.

Any unsigned act from the UK and Ireland can apply. The winner will also win £5000 talent development prize from the PRS Foundation. Two runners-up will also be awarded £2500.

A panel of 40 of the UK’s best music writers will help compile a longlist of 120 acts. The longlist will then be whittled down to a shortlist of 8 artists by judges including Glastonbury organisers Michael and Emily Eavis, before the live finals at Pilton Working Men’s Club in April decide the winning act. For the past three years, all eight of the finalists were offered slots at that year’s Festival.

“New music is at the very heart of what we do here at Glastonbury" said Glastonbury organiser Emily Eavis. "The Emerging Talent Competition has become such an important way for us to find the next wave of talent from across the genres, and then help to shine a light on it. I’m really excited to hear this year’s entries.”

You need to act fast if you want to be in with a chance. The competition is open for just one week - from 9am Monday 30 January until 5pm Monday 6 February 2017. Submit your entry here when it opens.

Gigwise are among the panelists this year and will be listening closely to hundreds of entries.

Meanwhile, Radiohead are the only headliner for this year's festival. Ed Sheeran is also heavily rumoured to top the Pyramid Stage, along with Foo Fighters, who were forced to cancel their headline slot in 2015.
