Slaves have announced a gig at Margate’s Dreamlands Pleasure Park on July 22.
The show, a one-off event organised by the By The Sea festival set to hold its third annual weekend at the pleasure park in the Autumn, will be the second seaside set of 2017 from the Kent duo, following a ‘Pier Party’ on Brighton Palace Pier at the Great Escape festival in May.
As at the Palace Pier show, fans at the Dreamlands gig will also have access to the fairground rides. Tickets go on sale at 9am on February 17.
By The Sea returns to Dreamlands on September 29-30, following a successful second year headlined by Super Furry Animals and Wolf Alice, and also featuring Wild Beasts, Bat For Lashes, The Mystery Jets and Let’s Eat Grandma. Foals and Hot Chip headlined 2015’s inaugural event.
The shows celebrate the Top Six placing of Slaves second album ‘Take Control’, featuring a collaboration with Beastie Boys’ Mike D, and the band also play at Liverpool Sound City on May 27 and at the Benicassim festival in Spain in July.
