The Cinematic Orchestra are set to headline the Friday night at Blissfields 2017.
DJ Yoda – playing his Stranger Things Mixtape show - Pumarosa, Flamingods, Tom Grennan and DJ Luck & MC Neat have also been announced for the ‘Bizarre’-themed event.
The new acts join Metronomy, Lady Leshurr and Sundara Karma on the bill for the 5,000 capacity boutique festival in Hampshire, taking place from 6-8 July.
With organisers promising that “the Twilight Zone is coming to Hampshire” and that the event will be “A tunnel through the fantastic, via fantasy and freakshow”, the festival will also live up to its theme with a Victorian funfair, an area called Angel Gardens where visitors will be invited to dress up as woodland creatures and free hot air balloon rides. “I used to run free tractor rides”, said operator Paul Bliss, “back when the festival was on the land behind our house. We wanted to bring a bit of that back, only on a scale we could never have done back then”.
