Following a surprise live collaboration between the pair at the BRIT Awards this week, Ed Sheeran and Stormzy have teamed up for a studio version of the 'Shape Of You' remix. In addition, Major Lazer have also given their own spin on the track. Listen to the two remixes below.
Genres collided when the grime MC stepped out on stage at the star-studded BRITs ceremony on Wednesday night, after Sheeran performed segments from his dual-hit comeback singles 'Castle On The Hill' and 'Shape Of You' at London's o2 Arena.
Though it was thought to be a one-off live moment, fans of Stormzy's imprint on the R&B tinged track can now stream at their leisure. The official release of the remix comes on the same day Stormzy has released his debut record Gang Signs & Prayer.
The second remix of the track, put together by electronic trio Major Lazer, features vocals from Nyla & Kranium.
Elsewhere - on what's shaping-up to be a jam-packed album release day for Stormzy - all eyes were on a North London football field, as fans turned up in huge numbers for a secret show from the grime star.
Gang Signs & Prayer features guest appearances from Kehlani, Lily Allen and J. Hus.
Meanwhile, Ed Sheeran will release the eagerly-awaited third record Divide next Month, before heading out on a huge UK tour. The singer is also heavily rumoured to be topping the bill at Glastonbury this June.
