British Breakthrough Act nominees Blossoms have shared a Dan Croll remix of dancehall-ready single 'Honey Sweet'. Listen to the track below.
With the band admitting themselves that the track is a homage to Blondie's huge disco hit 'Heart Of Glass', the infectious 'Honey Sweet' is taken further into the depths of the dancefloor with Dan Croll's stamp on the tune. Croll - who his known for his contemporary yet quirky songwriting style - has created a dreamy soundscape of of lush dance chords and snappy beats to re-imagine the single.
Elsewhere - while at the BRIT Awards this week - frontman Tom Ogden told NME that album two was in the works, and has a "Kylie Minogue meets New Order sound". We're in.
Stockport's finest are currently gearing-up for the NME Awards tour, which kicks-off next month and includes a show at Camden Roundhouse. The band will also play an (almost) homecoming show at Manchester's Castlefield Bowl in July and will be joined by The Coral. It's set to be a huge one.
