The Rolling Stones are set to embark on a European stadium tour this Autumn starting in Hamburg and finishing with two dates in Paris. Tour dates and ticket details are below.
The tour promo video that was used to make the announcement shows footage of their recent showstopping performances set to audio of the band's recordings.
"I’m so excited to be touring Europe this Autumn and returning to some familiar places and some we’ve never done before,” said frontman Mick Jagger in a press release, while guitarist Keith Richards added “Hey guys, here we come. See you there!”
The European tour follows last year’s tour of South America and the Carribean that culminated in their spectacular first ever show in Havana, Cuba.
In terms of what to expect for a setlist on the No Filter tour, the band promise the hits and "a couple of unexpected tracks each night and randomly selected surprises from their formidable arsenal of songs”.
Elsewhere, The Rolling Stones put out a brilliant album last year named Blue & Lonesome that was featured in our 51 best albums of 2016. Meanwhile Mick Jagger, who at the age of 73 had his eighth child last year, has teamed up with blues great Buddy Guy on a new version of The Rolling Stones' "Doo Doo Doo Doo Doo (Heartbreaker)."
