More about: Drug Store Romeos
Drug Store Romeos have released their second ever single this morning in the form of the dreamy 'Frame Of Reference'. Drawing on elements of shoegaze, francophile pop and dream pop, the trio prove again that their brand of alternative is something we're very much happy to subscribe to.

The new single follows the debut release of 'Now You're Moving' which was debuted back in October on Fiction Records, and which we described as having "an air of devilish luxuriance". We also included it in our top 101 songs of 2019.
'Frame Of Reference' is a slightly more upbeat example of what the band can do thanks to dance-y programmed percussion and bulging synths, making it very Charlotte Gainsbourg meets Mazzy Star. Give it a listen and see the accompanying video:
On the new track, the band said: "We love dancing at our shows and felt that our set was lacking that. The goal was to make something that felt minimalist whilst being quite full and encompassing. The song is trying to convey a sort of euphoric sadness."
