More about:

You can now listen to a previously unheard Razorlight song titled 'Burn, Camden, Burn'. Released this morning but recorded way back when in 2009, the new indie track is autobiographical for frontman Johnny Borrell, who describes it as "the view from the Dublin Castle".

Referencing the infamous Camden pub as the inspiration behind the song - and behind much of Borrell's youthful life - Borrell says: "I learnt everything I know in the toilets of the Dublin Castle."

As indie as they come, 'Burn, Camden, Burn' is all fanfare with bright, clear electric guitars and the steady, propulsive beat of golden age guitar music.

Hear it:

'Burn, Camden, Burn' was unearthed at the request of Jim O'Hanlan, director brand new Apple+ TV show Trying - also about the trials and tribulations of living in North London.

The Dublin Castle takes a front seat in the show as well as in Johnny Borrell's life, acting as a repeat backdrop to a story about a young couple trying to adopt.

The release follows Razorlight's run of huge shows with Kaiser Chiefs this January.
