More gifts from the productive indie peddlers

Peaceful indie peddlers Bombay Bicycle Club have shared a delicate acoustic version of 'Let You Go' - part of this year's new album Everything Else Has Gone Wrong. It'll be part of a new EP called Two Lives.

Expansive and pastoral, the new version of 'Let You Go' conjures images of birds flying in a blue summer twilight. No doubt it'll be more of the same bliss on the further tunes on the Two Lives EP - 'Racing Stripes' and 'Is It Real' will also get the acoustic treatment.

Hear 'Let You Go' now:

Bonnie Raitt's 'Two Lives' will feature as the last song on the EP and serves as the project title.

The EP will be available on a pay-what-you-want basis on the band website, with all proceeds being split equally between music charities aimed at helping young and Black musicians: Chineke! and Youth Music.

The EP was recorded at home in Jack Steadman's own studio: “Recording this EP at home meant going back to basics and recording just like I used to growing up. It brought back a lot of funny memories of making DIY shakers out of rice and tupperware, and mic shields out of coat hangers and stockings."

Two Lives EP arrives 24 July via Mmm...Records
