As The Snuts edge further and further into the realm of pop, they still manage to hang onto the attitude of indie rock for which they attract enormous crowds at every festival they play. With new single 'Elephants', The Snuts are at their most pop - and most popular - to date.

Whatever they make, the fans will follow, as evidenced by the single debuting at number one on the iTunes Chart. And while 'Elephants' is a departure from QOTSA inspired 'Juan Belmonte' or the bright indie chimes of debut 'Glasgow', 'Elephants' does seem like a natural continuation for the Scottish band: The Snuts are master songwriters, and they know what the people want.

It follows the Mixtape EP, which arrived earlier this year.

On the new single, frontman Jack Cochrane aknowledged the diversity of their releases: "Elephants is another twist on our ever growing diverse catalogue. The song in whole features a change in lyrical style leaning towards referencing."

The Snuts are fast-rising with no sign of slowing down.
