More about: Rachel Chinouriri
Astonishingly emotive singer-songwriter Rachel Chinouriri returns today with a brand new release about a lonely pastoral nighttime scene. Sam Dotia features on the single, which is Chinouriri's first single of the year.
'Beautiful Disaster' doesn't need much more than the vocals of these two artits to make it bristle with powerful emotion. Short and soft, the instrumental track is redolent with delicate synths and otherworldy guitars.
The breathy tones of Chinouriri and Dotia mingle like smoke rising from a twilit campfire.
"We imagine a woodlands and clear sky. We came up with a place and describe our own reasons of why we would be there. When I was growing up I would often go to woodland areas for some peace," Chinouriri explained.
"The music by Hylnu also felt quite disparate from what i'd imagined, but we loved how it made us feel."
Chinouriri furst came to our attention last year with her breathtaking single 'Where Do I Go?' It followed a debut EP released last year. Expect a new project later in 2020...
