More about:

Matt Maltese has shared another track from his forthcoming EP Madhouse. The dreamy new single follows May's 'Queen Bee' - a collaboration with Sorry and The Lemon Twigs.

On 'Hi', Maltese steps it all the way down for a dreamy, sixties-inflected ballad that sings with the nostalgia of The Beach Boys and twinkles with synth keys.

Imagine you're driving down Hollywood Boulevard in a pair of bell bottoms, everyone. The heat is shining on the pavements and beautiful people are striding up and down the road. Bet you can muster the image by listening to this one:

'Hi' was written in collaboration with Rose Elinor Dougall and Edd Holloway during a Spotify Songwriting camp. On the track's themes, Maltese said: “This is an ode to someone who’s there for you and has been there all along. I think it’s a song that tries to capture the moment that your love for someone reveals itself to you.”

Madhouse Tracklist:

1. Little Person
2. Queen Bee
3. Hi
4. Madhouse
5. Leather Wearing AA
6. Sad Dream
