Cathy Jain may still be doing her A Levels but she's no ordinary teenager. The young artist, who is signed to YALA! Records, has today shared her new single 'UFO'. It's part of a second EP, due later this year.

'UFO' is Cathy's first new music of the year (she's had exams to focus on, remember) but it's a welcome return: a bouncy iteration of her earlier nonchalance, disguising emotionally wrought lyrical content.

On 'UFO', Cathy imagines your betrayal by someone close to you in apocalyptic terms: “You know when you’re with someone and you think they’re someone they’re not? “It’s made into this big, apocalyptic alien invasion story."

The single follows last year's exceptional EP articifical.
