Two cultural wonders have well and truly collided this week. In a new trailer for the TV adaptation of Sally Rooney’s Conversations With Friends, it was revealed that indie phenomenon Phoebe Bridgers has written a song for the new series, which was released in full today.

Needless to say, people have been losing their damn minds over it. With these literary and musical titans coming together, Sad Girl Summer is already getting started. The track itself is gorgeous and understated, perfectly capturing the mood that drew people to Sally Rooney’s original novel.
