Multilingual French pop phenomenon Christine and the Queens make their return today with ‘Je te vois enfin’, this time appearing as new persona ‘Redcar’. Following on from their highly-enjoyable collab with Charli XCX and Caroline Polacheck on ‘New Shapes’, this is their first solo outing since 2020’s La vita nuova EP.

If anything’s going to get you back to your French lessons on Duolingo, it’s ‘Je te vois enfin’, but you don’t need to understand what’s going on to really enjoy this new era of Christine and the Queens. Back with their typical electronic elements, ‘Je te vois enfin’ showcases Christine and the Queens in their prime. Armed with a new look and a mysterious new persona, it looks like we’re in for a treat with this new chapter.
