More about: Isaac Gracie
Remember Isaac Gracie? The guy that soared to the top as the newest acoustic indie heartthrob in 2018 thanks to his deeply unique vocal and brutal lyricism? The creator of enduring bangers like ‘Terrified’ and ‘Reverie’? Well if you do, you’re in luck because he’s back. And if not, prepare to meet your new sad boy favourite.
Returning with his first new music in a whopping five years, ‘The Man That Flew Into Space’ pulls his out of retirement and soaring off into bigger things. Expanding his original sound with cinematic strings and wider storytelling lyrics; the track immediately lays out why he’s been away so long as he returns with obvious maturing and refreshed vision.
Just as with his self-titled 2018 debut - Isaac remains on the outside of cliche and boring genre tropes. Instead, returning with a swaying, ever-changing ballad that nods at the Bowie influence. It’s like he gathered up that original acoustic singer-songwriter energy and strapped it to a rocket.
Keeping our fingers crossed for more to come, we’re glad to have him back.
