Gallows front man Frank Carter cracked his head open onstage last night (September 15) at a gig in Stoke.

The hardcore outfit were playing a typically riotous set at the Sugarmill venue when Carter was joined by a fan onstage some way into the set.

The pair play wrestled on the ground when Carter hit his head on the stage, seemingly by accident. According to the NME, blood instantly gushed from the wound and Carter immediately knew he was in a bad way.

He told the packed venue “I’m off to A & E now” before exiting the stage to go to hospital. The rest of the Watford band continued with Carter’s brother joining them for ‘Cassanova’ and ‘In The Belly Of A Shark.’

After a few songs, the rest of the band abandoned the set. It’s expected that the rest of the tour will go ahead as planned.
