Courtney Love gave Pete Doherty a break from his latest course of rehab yesterday (September 17th) by taking him on a special trip to a Wetherspoons.

Doherty is currently coming to the end of another course of rehab in a bid to beat his addiction to drugs.

According to the Star, Love visited Doherty’s ‘temporary’ home at the The Clouds rehab clinic in Wiltshire, where the pair decided to spend the afteroon in the local Wetherspoon’s pub for a “coffee and a meal deal.”

A source told the paper: “Pete respects Courtney for the struggle she’s faced, one that, like his, seemed insurmountable. He’s turning a corner now. And chatting to one of rock’s great survivors is a great help and inspiration for him. They had a brilliant talk.”

A visitor who saw Doherty and Love enjoying their chat with each other also said that they share a tender kiss after the visit.

“It’s too early to say if it could be romance as the smacker was of the friendly sort,” explained the onlooker.

Doherty was apparently granted a special pass in order to leave the grounds of the Rehab centre.
