New York electro-rockers Radio 4 are coming to these shores for a one-off date in London this February to coincide with the release of their new single.
The band will play an exclusive set at London’s ULU on February 17th. Four days later ‘Nation’ is released in a 10-inch only format and features a remix from the legendary Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry.
As reported last year on Gigwise, the band were forced to cancel seven UK dates and the rest of their European tour in November after singer Anthony Roman was struck down with a severe stomach illness.
Anthony has finally made a full recovery and is now looking forward to returning to the UK. He said: "During The Libertines US tour in October, I experienced stomach ailments that got increasingly worse. Upon doctor's orders we were forced to take two months off. Now that I've been given the all-clear, we are very excited to return to the UK."
He is also thrilled with the Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry remix. He added: "The idea of working with Lee Perry seemed so ridiculously improbable that I thought the label was joking... I even named my cat after Scratch Perry!"
Tickets for the London show are priced £11.50 and are out now.
