Busted's management have issued a statement rubbishing newspaper reports that the pop group are making a full reunion.
A story in The Sun today claims that Matt Willis is planning to reform the band and is hoping to draft in original members James Bourne and Fightstar guitarist Charlie Simpson.
In an emphatic statement, the band's manager said: "There is categorically NO CHANCE that Charlie will, would or otherwise be involved in any Busted reunion. End of story."
In a separate statement, Charlie Simpson said: "Fightstar have been together for 6 years now and we have made 3 albums that we are all extremely proud of. We are now in a more creative place than ever before and there is absolutely no sign of it slowing down.
"We have a very dedicated fan base that has been with us from the start and no doubt will be with us for a very long time. I wish Matt and James all the best with their future projects but I want to make it unequivocally clear that I have no interest what-so-ever in re-joining Busted and I never will. I am at a point in my life were I am content and happy and I wouldn’t change it for the world."
Busted shifted over 3million albums between 2001 and their split in 2005 and won two Brit Awards.
Since their demise Matt Willis became a TV presenter, James Bourne flopped with the ill-fated Son Of Dork while Charlie Simpson formed Fightstar.
