Biffy Clyro have revealed that raw sewage has been leaking through a wall into their recording studio.
The band have been spending a lot of time in their Ayrshire farmhouse recording studio - which they have been using for the past decade - to work on their new album.
However, the band admitted to Kerrang that the studio currently has a 'plumbing problem'. Simon Neil told the magazine: "There has been raw sewage leaking through a wall. It's gone from being just gross to actually kinda dangerous..."
He went on to joke, "Maybe the new album will be raw sewage influenced. It might end up sounding like Municipal Waste!"

Neil also discussed the forthcoming follow-up to Opposites, confirming that it will be less orchestral than its predecessor. "It's time for us to move on and do something new," he said. "In a way, Opposites has shown us what not to do for the next record. It certainly won't be as expansive or long.
"It's liberating to know that we couldn't have made a more epic record than the one we just did, but we don't want to repeat that again."
Neil also revealed that the new album contains a "black metal pop song" as well as "some cool stoner reggae shit."
Biffy Clyro are set to headline this year's T In The Park festival, which takes place between 11 - 13 July in Kinross-shire, Scotland. For more information, visit Gigwise Gig Tickets.
