More about: Noel Gallagher
She tells him...
Noel Gallagher has revealed that his wife is not a fan of some of the songs on his forthcoming solo album.
The former Oasis guitarist's debut effort, 'Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds', is due to be released in October.
In an interview with XFM, Gallagher said he had always struggled trying to convince his wife, Sara McDonald, to like his material.
"I've got to say, my missus is not the biggest fan of anything I've ever done ever. She's a bit like... meh. It's not Kasabian, is it? Do you know what I mean?,” he said.
"There's one on the new album she really doesn't like. The last track. When she saw the track listing, she said 'Oh, you've not included that bloody song have you?'.”
He added: “Someone might like it. She's from Scotland, I know my place. She's more Northern than I am."
As previously reported on Gigwise, Gallagher has today (August 2) announced details of a number of tour dates, set to take place in October.
Gallagher and his band will play a total of three live dates, kicking off at Dublin's Olympia Theatre on October 23, Edinburgh's Usher Hall (27) and concluding at London's Hammersmith Apollo on October 29.
