Liam Gallgher has suggested that Beady Eye will play Oasis songs live in the future.

The singer had previously stated that he had no desire to perform tracks by his former group on tour, while his bandmates said they couldn't play them without brother Noel Gallagher.

But in an apparent U-turn, Liam has said it may happen.

"Maybe down the line, in the third album we might throw some in there just for the crack,” he told BBC 6 Music.

Liam's decision follows Noel's promise to perform songs by Oasis when he hits the road as a solo artist later this year.

The two brothers are currently invovled in a spat over a cancelled Oasis gig in 2009.

Meanwhile, Beady Eye have also revealed that they are hoping to release their follow-up to debut album 'Different Gear, Still Speeding' next year.
