My Chemical Romance's Gerard Way Performs With Blink-182 - Video

My Chemical Romance frontman Gerard Way performed with Blink-182 at a gig in Michigan.

The singer deputised for Tom DeLonge on the song 'First Date' at the DTE Energy Music Theater – and you can watch a video on Gigwise below.

Way performed with My Chemical Romance's tourmates because DeLonge was apparently suffering from illness.

My Chemical Romance and Blink-182 have been touring with each other at venues across the US all summer.

Last month, Way told Gigwise he would love to bring the tour to the UK but said at present there were no plans to do so.

Meanwhile, Blink-182 are continuing to preview their forthcoming album – the band have released the single 'After Midnight' online.
