Simon Bird, who plays Will in The Inbetweeners, has proposed to his girlfriend whilst on holiday in Paris.
The pair were enjoying their romantic getaway, where Bird was constantly getting heckled by teenage British tourists.
To his delight, Lisa Owens said a tearful "yes."
A source told The Sun: "Simon took Lisa to Paris without any mention of plans to propose, but he had it all worked out. He bought a ring - sticking to traditions and spending a month's wages on the sparkler.
"They went for dinner and he asked her to marry him."
The source continued: "Lisa immediately said 'Yes'. They are looking forward to spending the rest of their lives together."
The pair met at Cambridge, where Bird was performing a sketch written by Inbetweeners co-star Joe Thomas about a couple having a row.
