Mutya Keisha Siobhan, Chvrches, VV Brown, Girls Aloud and One Direction are among the nominations for this year's Popjustice Twenty Quid Music Prize.
The annual event, which is hosted by pop music website Popjustice, announces its nominations every year on the same day as the Mercury Music Prize, and was originally conceived as an alternative to the 'stuffy' and largely alternative Mercury nominations.
The winner is presented with a £20 note for services to pop music. The full list of nominations is below.
