Led Zeppelin star Jimmy Page has hinted at a possible Led Zeppelin performace at Glastonbury, following Michael Eavis' previous statements that he was certain of a future headline slot by the legendary band.

While Page did not confirm any plans for Led Zeppelin to make an appearance at Worthy Farm, he certainly left the option open, when questioned about the possibility by Shaun Keaveny during an interview on BBC Radio 6 Music.

"I haven't heard about anything since the 2007 O2 gig, but you never know do you... you never know what's going to happen tomorrow, do you?" Page told the host.

In a radio interview with Ireland's AM earlier in 2014, Eavis said of Led Zeppelin headlining Glastonbury: "That will happen one day. I'm sure of it. They will do it."

Page recently spoke of his plans to tour with Led Zeppelin once again, telling Gigwise at the iovr Novello awards: "I intend to be playing myself - seen to be playing and out there playing."

"The music that I would do goes before Led Zeppelin, and beyond. So obviously it's a major part of my musical career so I'm going to play their music. Why wouldn't I?"
