Foo Fighters have announced their first shows of 2015, kicking off in January. Full dates and ticket details are below.
UPDATE: Foo Fighters have announced details of a full UK tour - read the full announcement and our interview with Dave Grohl here
The band, who recently caused a frenzy in the UK with a string of intimate and (hardly) 'secret' club shows before headlining London's Invictus Games, have just announced a run of massive shows in South America. Full tour dates are below. For tickets and information, visit here.
While in the UK, the band teased that they might be playing Wembley next year. With new album Sonic Highways out in November and 2015 tour dates starting to be announced, it's surely only a matter of time before more dates on UK shores are announced.
The band's next record consists of eight tracks recorded in eight legendary music studios in eight different cities. To celebrate, the band have made a documentary about the making of Sonic Highways, with the eight episodes of the same name to be screened on HBO and BBC Four this Autumn. Earlier this month, Gigwise asked the Foos if they'd be likely to air new tracks from Sonic Highways at gigs soon, to which guitarist Chris Shiflett replied: "We can't play the new songs because of the TV show coming out, so we have to keep them under wraps until then, to the best of our ability. We might play a snippet or two, we'll see."
Sonic Highways will be released on 10 November.
