Kanye West made a special appearance at Chicago's inaugural AAHH! Fest on Sunday. Watch video of the special appearance below.
The event hosted by Common and Donda's House also featured sets by Lupe Fiasco, De La Soul and Jennifer Hudson.
As Pitchfork reports, Common had previously announced he would be performing with a "very special guest" and it seemed Kanye West couldn't resist the opportunity to perform in his hometown. Stealing the show with "Get Em High" he went on to do almost a short set, blasting out hits "Jesus Walks", "Power", "All of the Lights" alongside Common.

Common also brought out Jay Electronica and Vince Staples to perform the upcoming "Kingdom" remix.
West's follow-up to Yeezus is rumoured to be released later this month after West revealed to GQ he is working on ways to make it less "beautiful". He had previously mentioned that the latest cut has more of a "Ni**"s in Paris" vibe than that first version "Before … I had these beautiful songs, [but] they were just more songs. They weren't saying, 'OK, tuck your whole summer in.'"
