Hayley Williams has berated the festive music industry, arguing "there aren't enough heavy christmas songs".
Speaking to NME, the Paramore frontwoman explained that there aren't enough rock bands recording songs for the festive season, detailing which artists she would like to record a christmas song as well.
Tipping a band called Turnstile, Williams stated the hardcore group "have this heavy '90s influence. I feel like it would have had a lot of attitude."
The frontwoman then continued: "There aren't enough heavy Christmas songs, they're all pop or country songs. I want something that I can bulldoze around to."
Paramore themselves are yet to record a christmas song, however based on Williams' comments it would seem that could be a possibility in the future.
Until then though, fans can just continue to "bulldoze around to" 'Fairytale of New York'.
