Ariana Grande on nude photos: 'It's invasive, but at least it wasn't me'

The singer addressed the alleged leaked photos once again

As the nude photo scandal, AKA 'The Fappening', AKA horrendous and illegal invasion of women's privacy, rumbles on, Ariana Grande has told the press once again that the photos are not of her.

In the past month, a celebrity hacking 'campaign' has leaked dozens of nude photos allegedly featuring various female celebrities. Many victims have since publicly denied that the photos are of them.

Grande is one such celebrity, who recently told members of the paparrazzi in LAX airport: "Those weren't me, it was funny though. That's not my room, that's not my cat, that's not my belly button ring, that's not my hair, that's not my profile. I was like, 'Whoever that is...' I was like, 'Alright!' No, that's not me."

She added: "It is invasive, but at least it wasn't me." That's the generous spirit and empathy we like to see. "I don't take pictures like that. I swear I don't, I promise."

This isn't the first time Grande has been forced to deny that the photos of her - perhaps a little more onus should be put on condemning those responsible, rather than making the victims repeatedly defend themselves against an abuse of their privacy.

Other celebrities who've reportedly had their private photos stolen from their phones include Rihanna, Hilary Duff, Selena Gomez and Avril Lavigne.
