T in the Park have submitted their plans for their prospective move to Strathallan Castle.

Migrating from its home at the disused Balado airfield in Kinross-shire, the festival has outlined its "pre-application plan" to Perth and Kinross Council. It details what putting the event will entail from live music and entertainment to camping, facilities, and food provision.

DF concerts will apply for permission for "engineering and other operations to facilitate the establishment and use of a venue for the purposes of holding a music event." Along with this they've asked for use of the site's buildings, along with the facilities for “a funfair, cinema, sale and consumption of hot and cold food and drink and alcohol, vehicle parking and temporary accommodation, including camping”.

The promoters will be hoping to have the festival ready from Friday 10th until Sunday 12th July 2015, with early entry available from Thursday 9th July.

From here the organisers will need to take part in two community exhibitions, although they have already been dealing with residents on a one-to-one basis. After that a full planning application will need to be submitted.

T in The Park 2014 was headlined by Arctic Monkeys, Biffy Clyro and Calvin Harris.
