Paris Hilton has discussed her extremely large DJ fees, confirming that she earns up to $1 million dollars for a show.
While the fees aren't anything new to anyone who has been following the rise of the vacuous heiress and rolling there eyes, it is the first time she has chosen to discuss it. The New York Post asked about rumours she had received $2.7 million (£1.6 million) for a four-night residency, she confirmed that she receives up to $1 million (£620,000) per booking.
“I don’t want to be bragging, but it’s great to be paid well for what you love doing,” she said, adding: “My mother always told me it’s not polite to discuss money, but it’s true. I’m very proud. I’ve worked hard.”

To Hilton's credit, the clanging and out of time mixing you hear in the clip above is at least a sign that she's trying to mix, unlike certain DJ's who come with a pre-recorded set. So if it's rubbish and expensive, at least it's genuine.
