Having sung 'Breathe Me' ten years ago, a jar of Sia's breath is now going to be auctioned in aid of an Adelaide Film festival.
“Gorgeously and magnificently she breathed into a jar for us,” festival director Amanda Duthrie told the Advertiser newspaper. As the Guardian reports, the Mason jar is finished with silver sealing wax and, as Duthrie explained: “Whoever wins it will be able to break that seal – or just let it be.”
Having worked with Beyonce, Rihanna, Britney Spears, Katy Perry and Kylie Minogue, Sia is renowned for her innovative approach to live performance and heroic reluctance to promo - exemplified by her cover of Billboard magazine with a paper bag over her head.
Currently she can be heard on Eminem's top ten single 'Guts Over Fear' and her huge single 'Chandelier' was recently parodied by Jim Carrey on Saturday Night Live.
Sia's breath is not the first celebrity to auction off a questionable air jar. A jar of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's breath was sold for £340 in 2010 on Ebay.
