Global Gathering have revealed that there will be no festival next year, allowing the dance event to 'take a break'.

The event, which entertains 55,000 dance lovers at the end of every July in Stratford on Avon, have revealed that they she be enforcing a fallow year in 2015 to review their approach and strategy.

"After 13 years of delivering one of the UK’s most successful electronic dance music events, the promoters of the GlobalGathering UK festival have decided that the festival will take a break in 2015 in order for all elements of the show to be reviewed ensuring GG remains at the heart of the UK dance market," said organisers in a statement.

"This will not affect any of the GG club shows in the UK or international GG events. Thanks to all of our loyal fans for your continued support, please check the website for further updates."

This year's event saw huge performances from the likes of The Prodigy, David Guetta, Chase & Status, Alesso, Knife Party, Eric Prydz and many more.
